Macular Science Receives Additional Patents on MacViewer^TM

King of Prussia, PA -- December 8, 2009 -- Macular Science, LLC, a majority-owned subsidiary of Sensory Arts & Science, announced that a series of additional patents have been granted and issued on its MacViewer diagnostic method and technology. The MacViewer is a simple to use device that can rapidly identify the presence of Age-Related Macular Degeneration as well as other conditions of the central visual field.

The patents, entitled "Methods and Apparatus for Observing and Recording Irregularities of the Macula and Nearby Retinal Field" are now registered and in force in the following European Union countries:

Austria Belgium Denmark France Germany Ireland

Italy Netherlands Spain Sweden Switzerland United Kingdom and its territories

This is in addition to the United States patent (US 7,166,079), granted in February, 2007.

Macular Science is now in the planning stages of commercializing this important diagnostic method and device, and the company expects to commence marketing of the device beginning in late 2010 or early 2011. For more information, please contact Dave Davis, Managing Partner.
