What is Deviceware^® ?

Deviceware is a design methodology, system architecture, and application framework that facilitates the management of an intelligent device by an application that can be run on a variety of Windows systems.

Developed with Microsoft .NET, Deviceware provides a way to quickly and efficiently develop a comprehensive system for interfacing with and managing devices across the various hardware platforms that support the Windows operating system, including PC, PDA, and SmartPhone.

The Deviceware framework offers complete flexibility in:

Wired or wireless interface to the device
Data management & storage
Internationalization
Deployment of the system to a variety of platforms

Deviceware^® Foundation

The Deviceware Foundation is a series of application classes that handle all the essential functions of a data management system in a series of pre-built modules. The Foundation architecture provides security, encryption, and logging of all transactional information for complete auditability of the device management system.

The Deviceware Foundation is the first in a series of components that offers medical device and other system developers a complete and modular architecture for rapidly developing safe, secure, scalable, and highly reliable device management systems that can be deployed across all Windows platform device types.

Additional modules of the Deviceware architecture model are in development, and will be offered as they are completed.
