Otovation was formed in 2003 to further develop
and commercialize products for the audiology and professional
hearing care services market.
The Pocket Hearo® was developed by Sensory Arts beginning in 2002, and
is the first and only pure tone audiometer
that utilizes a mobile device (PDA) to deliver an accurate
hearing test. The product established a new category for portable
screening audiometers and led to the formation of the
new company in August, 2003.
Since that time, Otovation
has acquired and developed additional
products for the worldwide audiology market, and has
positioned itself for significant and sustainable
growth as a leading innovator in the hearing care services industry.
